Play the Atlantic Course at Penha Longa (tbc), designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., was opened in 1992. This 18 hole, par 72 championship course of 7,000 yards is particularly attractive due to the conditioning and breathtaking views of the ocean with Estoril and Cascais in the foreground, and also of the Sintra Hills. It hosted the 1994 & 1995 Portuguese Open Championships.

Since is opening in 2001 it has held 7 professional tournaments and is currently host venue to the European PGA Tour Portuguese Open. Currently Portugal's only entry in the top 100 courses in the world.

The Torre course is set to feature risk-and-reward holes, tight fairways and small greens, with Garcia pointing to Valderrama as his inspiration. It will favour precision and shotmaking over length and power.

Today play the Dunas Course at Terras da Comporta (tbc). Opened in October 2023, the course instantly won acclaim as it was named the ‘World's and Europe’s Best New Golf Course’ at the 2023 World Golf Awards and ranked ninth in Golf World magazine’s respected industry poll of the ‘Top 100 Golf Courses in Continental Europe’ for 2023-2024. It is the first to be designed in mainland Europe by acclaimed golf architect David McLay-Kidd. Set within 84 hectares of natural, sandy terrain on the edge of the Sado Estuary Nature Reserve. The course is engulfed by towering pine trees, large bunkers and sandy wasteland areas, luscious wide undulating fairways, along with the fast and undulating green complex.

The championship course measures more than 7,000 yards and is particularly attractive due to the conditioning and breathtaking views of the ocean with Estoril and Cascais in the foreground, and also of the Sintra Hills. Typically ranked among the top 50 courses in Europe, it can challenge the recreational golfer of the profession. It was the host site for the 1994 & 1995 Portuguese Open Championships.

The Dunas Course was rated in the top 10 of Golf World magazine’s list of the ‘Top 100 Golf Courses in Continental Europe 2023/24’ - the highest-ever ranking for a new golf course.
